Dear All,

Please be advised Kodiak Research Ltd, (ROTAX MASTER DISTRIBUTOR) has put out an urgent Bulletin for a problem associated with the fuel pumps on CERTAIN SERIAL numbers of engines that have been sent out into the world.

Our records indicate that most of you are not included in the directive that has been enclosed. However, just to be sure that all record keeping is in order and to assure the safety of everyone that has purchase our products we would appreciate that you MAKE SURE that YOUR AIRCRAFT AND THE ENGINE ASSOCIATED WITH IT DOES NOT FALL IN THE LIST ENCLOSED. We would Greatly appreciate that you send us and e-mail, with your tail number and Hull number verifying your status, being either that you are NOT effected OR that you are effected and have or are in the process of complying with the directive.

These engines are to be grounded until the defect is corrected with no exceptions.

Spare parts are being made available from Rotax and are currently on route. You will have to provide details of the log entry and return the removed part clearly tagged with the serial number of engine and pump removed from. If you have purchased a spare part within that serial range as indented within the ASB they must contact the regional independent Service Centre for a replacement hose.
