E.I.S. - Model 2002

The Two-Stroke Package Provides,

  • Tachometer -- accurate to 10 rpm
  • Dual EGT -- for monitoring mixture (A MUST!)
  • Dual CHT -- for monitoring of proper cooling.
  • Coolant Temperature* -- for water-cooled engines
  • Outside Air Temperature Probe*
  • Options for Altimeter/VSI, Airspeed, and/or Fuel Flow*
  • Fuel Level Probe* -- Electronic capacitive type. No moving parts makes it easy to install.
 



Pictured above are the combination pages for the Model 2002 without the altimeter/vsi option. While holding the "DISPLAY" button depressed, the numeric data shown above is replaced with labels to identify it. Note that the second page displays both EGTs and CHTs.

E.I.S. - Model 4000
A complete engine monitoring system at an affordable price. The EIS Model 4000 features start with the most comprehensive EGT/CHT monitor available anywhere, and then adds every other engine monitoring function you need, and more! Utilizing a back-lit, sunlight readable display, the EIS provides user-programmable graphical and digital displays in a compact package. A host of other useful features and the scrutiny of the 62 alarms, add the final touches to make your flying a safe, satisfying, and enjoyable experience.

Specific models are available for Lycoming/Continental, Rotax 912/914, Jabiru engines, and the M-14P engines.

Options that can be included in your EIS:
Fuel Flow System – Provides flow rate, fuel remaining, and time until empty. Includes a FloScan Fuel Flow Sending Unit. Accurate to better than 1%.

Altimeter & VSI -- Excellent backup, or may be used as a primary instrument. 10' resolution. -1000 to +35,000 range.

Airspeed -- Excellent backup or primary airspeed indicator. Range of 30-265 mph indicated.

Special EGT/CHT Alarms detect problems – easily!
  • EGT Tracking - Instantly reveals the source of roughness or other problems
  • EGT Span - Max difference between highest and lowest EGT
  • EGT Max - Active only when above a specified RPM.
  • EGT Min - Active only when above a specified RPM.
  • EGT Cruise Mode Hi and Low Alarms - Alerts you to subtle changes in EGT after leaning
  • CHT Shock Cooling - Max cooling rate
