| Antares U.S. Corp. has developed a kit, which allows AirBorne Edge owners the opportunity to fly on the remarkable Antares floats. Recent tests were conducted in Alaska, and they proved to be highly successful in every aspect. The trike handling was extremely stable at all speeds on the water. The single rudder allowed for complete control during all operations.
With no modifications required, the Antares floats are without a doubt the best choice for AirBorne Edge pilots who want to experience flying on floats. You can transform your trike from wheels to floats in the same amount of time it takes to install your wing.

Antares floats have been specially crafted from fiberglass and marine plywood for ultimate performance. Their clean design allows them to quickly get up on step for fast take-offs in all water conditions.
They can be mounted on any trike in minutes. No modifications are required to your trike. These light weight floats come with stainless steel, titanium and aluminum hardware for easy installation. A spray skirt is fitted between the floats, which keeps the pilot and passenger dry at all speeds.
The floats are specially designed to generate reduced spray during take-offs, landings or taxing. The double-hinged single rudder, makes them a breeze to handle. The sturdy construction allows for beaching on gravel or rocks without damaging them.
In Eastern Europe, the Antares floats have been widely used on lakes, rivers, and the Black Sea for 12 years without incident.

The AirBorne Edge tested had a Rotax 582 engine and a 17m Wizard wing. With two grown men aboard, the trike flew flawlessly. It got on step very rapidly and throughout the flight, had the same characteristics as if flying solo. A very short area for take offs and landings is required.
The Antares floats will afford you the opportunity to fly into those remote lakes to catch that record sized fish!
The floats come with the same high quality hardware that is used on the Antares Trikes.
